For those that don’t know me, I love spicy things! Ever since the Hibiscus Margarita, I have been thinking of more ways to make cocktails with that little bite! This one is pretty spicy so consider yourself warned! So, how do you make it?:
- 1 Chili Pepper
- ½ oz. Simple Syrup
- 1½ oz. Vodka
- 2 oz. Pineapple Juice
Just a heads up, one chili is plenty but feel free to add/take some away depending on how spicy you like your food. Now that thatsout of the way, we will start by getting the chili ready. Clean it out and remove the seeds, don’t worry it’ll be spicy even without them! Now, put the chili and the syrup to a shaker and muddle it then shake. This will get the most flavor out of the chili. Now, add in the vodka and the juice and shake with ice. I used pineapple just because I like it but feel free to use a different sweet juice if you want. Once you shake it, strain it and pour it into your glass. If you want, garnish it with a slice or a whole pepper!
- Clean chili(s)
- Put chili into shaker with the simple syrup
- Muddle chili and syrup together
- Add vodka and juice
- Strain into glass
- Garnish and enjoy!
